through my eyes
i can barely see
you sitting there
in my favorite tree
enjoying the branches
as we dream away
the troubles of our day
wait
hold on
lets travel through this haze
that blinds us all these days
that is to say
if we ever even saw
to begin with
anyway
so they say
when they say
but lets not stay
linger not
off we go
we must leave
this wonderland
this beauty
all behind and open your eyes
and wake up next to another
but sadly not
next to each other
